Competition categories start times

In the Kainuu Orienteering Week competition categories, the starting times can be selected in advance, except for H/D16-21E categories. The orienteer gets to select his own departure times in June after registration for the competition categories ends.

The selection of start times takes place at the following time:

• Selection of start times opens on Thursday 13 June 2024 at 12.00am.
• Selection of start times closes on Tuesday 18 June 2024 at 23.59pm.

If a participant does not choose a start time from the selection service, their start time will be drawn from the remaining available start times. After the start time selection service closes, the participant's start time(s) cannot be changed.

The Children's day care offers supervised and diverse activities for children under school age on all competition days. If you need treatment for your child during your orienteering and preparation for performance time, you can bring the child to treatment in the children’s day care. Registration for children’s day care in advance is possible until Wednesday, June 19, 2024. On-site registrations are accepted only if there is space available.
