Kainuu MTBO Week consists of four competitions in different types of terrains. The terrains of Sotkamo and Vuokatti offer a top-class mountain bike orienteering week.

The Kainuu MTBO Week's program is designed in such a way that the competitors can combine both MTB orienteering and foot orienteering in their program as they wish. The first MTBO stage is contested before the opening stage of Kainuu O Week, the second and third races on the rest days of the Kainuu O Week, and the starting times of the final stage can be combined smoothly with the last stage of Kainuu O Week.

Kainuu MTBO Week's program:

1st stage, Sun 29th June, at 10.00, competition categories + open courses

2nd stage, Mon 30th June, at 11.00, competition categories + open courses
- Competition Centre: will be informed later
3rd stage, Wed 2nd July, at 11.00, competition categories + open courses
- Competition Centre: will be informed later
4th stage, Fri 4th July, at 13.00, competition categories + open courses
- Competition Centre: will be informed later

Entry and registration into Kainuu MTBO Week

Entry and registration will be opened in Autumn 2024 and the entry steps are as follows:

30th November 2024
28th February 2025
31st May 2025
9th June 2025
On-site entry and registration is only possible for MTBO open courses (not into the MTBO competition categories)
