Things to do during the Kainuu Orienteering Week 4 - 9 July 2021

Suomussalmi and Kainuu in overall offer plenty of other activities during summer days for the days off. The nearby areas of Suomussalmi are full of amazing nature destinations, with possibilities to do hiking, trekking, mountain biking, canoeing and fishing.

Training possibilities:
Self-employed training maps and ready made trainings (will be published later in the spring on the Kainuu Orienteering Week website)
6th - 8th of July: Open sprint orienteering, Jätkänpuisto/city centre of Suomussalmi
- Place: Event Centre (Jalonniemi, Suomussalmi Tourist Office)
- Dates: tuesday 6th July, wednesday 7th of July and thursday 8th of July
- Time: same time when the Event Centre KOW-info is open
- Tracks: A, B and C (Different tracks than in the open sprint orienteering event on monday!)
- Map fee: 10 € / pc
- We raffle among the all participants one (1) free participation to the 54th Kainuu Orienteering Week 3.-8.7.2022 Puolanka (Luhtakangas-Äikänvaara). Participation is either in competition categories or into the open categories.
