You are warmly welcome to the most traditional Finnish orienteering and holiday week - Kainuu Orienteering Week. This year the event will be held in Suomussalmi and Haverinen ski centre area. For orienteers in all categories we offer perfect pine-forest terrain!
During the rest days spectators can enjoy for example culture, program for kids and especially the great sceneries and experiences in the Hossa National Park.

56th Kainuu Orienteering Week June 30 - July 5, 2024, Joutenlampi, Kajaani
We want to thank the participants, volunteers, landowners, partners, and all stakeholders who contributed to making the 56th Kainuu Orienteering Week a great event!
The event brought 5,832 different people to Kainuu and Kajaani for a week, and the total number of visits throughout the week exceeded 31,000. During the event week, a significant total of 15,043 sports performances were completed.
